We can all agree it doesn’t get much better than butter + carbs and this Easy Garlic Bread will satisfy all your carby garlicky desires. This easy garlic bread recipe starts with a pre-made tube of pizza dough, is smothered in a homemade butter sauce chock-full of fresh garlic, topped with an (un)healthy amount of mozzarella cheese and baked to golden perfection.
The butter gets absorbed into the dough as it bakes and resembles a bit of a buttery pan pizza texture. This easy garlic bread will make you melt with satisfaction. (Not me pairing this with just a glass of wine for the ultimate girl dinner!)

Key Ingredients
This easy garlic bread doesn’t require many ingredients, check out the list here (but be sure and see recipe card below for measurements):
Pre-Made Pizza Dough – I just used a tube of Pillsbury pizza crust and rolled it out thin
Butter – the star of the show!
Garlic – fresh grated garlic is a must. It’s the only effort you need in this recipe.
Parmesan – grated parmesan will be added to the garlic butter sauce. I used a pre-grated version.
Parsley – fresh parsley or dried parsley
Red Pepper Flakes – control the heat to your families liking, but some red pepper flakes really add to this simple recipe.
Mozzarella – freshly shredded mozzarella is always better than the pre-packaged ones but either works. You can use regular mozzarella for fresh milk mozzarella.
How to Make Easy Garlic Bread
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, partially melt the butter. Add in the garlic, parmesan, red pepper flakes and parsley. Mix well until combined.
Step 2: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to roughly a 10×15 rectangle shape. Brush the garlic butter across the entire dough edge to edge. Reserve the remaining sauce from brushing again after it bakes.
Top with mozzarella cheese across the entire surface area. Bake for 10-14 minutes, monitor it at 10 minutes to ensure it doesn’t brown too quickly. Once crust is a golden brown, it’s ready.
Step 3: Spread the remaining garlic butter (melting again if needed) over the top of the cheese bread edge-to-edge, or just over the crust if you prefer. Slice into your desired sized pieces and serve.
