Servings: 6 servings
- 1 can 11 oz refrigerated pre-made pizza crust like Pillsbury
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
Garlic Butter Spread
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 5 large cloves garlic, minced if small cloves, use 7-8
- 1/3 cup parmesan, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes less or more if desired
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, partially melt the butter. Add in the garlic, parmesan, red pepper flakes and parsley. Mix well until combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to roughly a 10x15 rectangle shape.
- Brush the garlic butter across the entire dough edge to edge. Reserve the remaining sauce from brushing again after it bakes.
- Top with mozzarella cheese across the entire surface area. Place on a non-stick pan and bake in the center rack.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes, monitor it at 10 minutes to ensure it doesn't brown too quickly. Once crust is a golden brown, it's ready.
- Spread the remaining garlic butter (melting again if needed) over the top of the cheese bread  edge-to-edge, or just over the crust if you prefer. Slice into your desired sized pieces and serve.
