Don’t you just love a good dessert dip? I love how you can whip up this cheesecake dip in just 5-10 minutes, sprinkle on the toppings, assemble it on a serving tray with fun dippers and serve to a group of smiling faces.

Key Ingredients:

Cream Cheese – softened, of course! This adds to cheesecake element

Brown Sugar – I love dark brown sugar for the deeper molasses flavor

Peanut Butter – use an emulsified creamy version (like Jif or Skippy)

Vanilla Extract – be sure to use real vanilla extract and not flavoring

Whipped Cream – homemade whipped cream is used which is a combination of heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.

Toppings – I love to add a variety of Reese’s from the mini cups to the large cups, Reese’s Pieces, and mini chocolate chips. You can be as creative as you wish.

Dippers – also so many options here from apples to crackers and cookies (see my full list of ideas below)

How to Make This Dessert Dip:

Step 1: In a large bowl, blend cream cheese and brown sugar together using a hand mixer. Once it’s smooth and creamy, blend in peanut butter and vanilla extract. The texture will not be a bit thicker.

Step 2: Fold in prepared homemade whipped cream (or Cool Whip if you prefer). It’s important to fold in the whipped cream in increments by hand with a silicone spatula to avoid it deflating.

Step 3: Place the peanut butter cheesecake dip into a serving bowl and decorate the top with your toppings of choice and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve on a serving plate with the dippers.
