Creamy, tropical, and bursting with fresh mango flavor, this mango lemonade combines juicy mango, sweetened condensed milk, half-and-half, and bright lemon juice for a refreshing summer drink that feels like a cross between a smoothie and classic homemade lemonade.

Behind This Mango Lemonade Recipe
I love creating fun, nostalgic drinks that feel like something you’d pick up from a farmers market or a summer fair. This creamy mango lemonade is giving major mango creamsicle vibes, and it’s exactly the kind of drink that feels like a special summer treat.
If you’re like me, you don’t make homemade drinks nearly often enough, but with summer in full swing and pool days on the calendar, this felt like the perfect time to create something extra refreshing. It’s the kind of creamy lemonade you’d happily pay $9 for at a trendy drink stand, but it’s surprisingly easy to make right at home.
I wanted to take classic homemade lemonade and give it a tropical twist by adding the rich, creamy texture I love in blended drinks. The combination of sweet mango, bright lemon, and sweetened condensed milk creates a smoothie-meets-lemonade experience that’s refreshing, nostalgic, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

Tips From My Kitchen
- Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor. The sweeter and more flavorful the mango, the better your lemonade will taste.
- Frozen mango works too. Thaw frozen mango before blending for the closest texture to fresh mango. You can use it frozen, but the mixture will become much thicker and may change the final consistency.
- Adjust the blended mango mixture. Add a splash more half-and-half if needed until the mango mixture becomes thick, creamy, and pourable.
- Reserve extra mango cream. I like to save a little of the blended mango mixture to swirl into individual glasses for a beautiful layered presentation.
- Balance the sweetness. Since mangoes vary in sweetness, taste the blended mixture and adjust with additional lemon juice as needed.
- Serve over plenty of ice. I recommend not putting ice directly into the pitcher unless you plan on drinking immediately. Instead, add ice to your glass and store the pitcher without ice in the fridge.

Ingredients You’ll Need & Why
This mango lemonade combines just a handful of ingredients to create a creamy, tropical drink with the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
Fresh Mango – Blended mango creates the naturally sweet, fruity base of this lemonade while adding a beautiful tropical flavor and creamy texture. You can use standard mangos or honey mangos (used in my recipe).
Sweetened Condensed Milk – Adds sweetness and richness while creating the signature creamy texture that makes this lemonade different from traditional versions.
Half-and-Half – Helps blend the mango into a smooth, pourable mixture while adding just enough richness without making the drink too heavy.
Fresh Lemon Juice – Brightens the drink and balances the sweetness of the mango and condensed milk with a refreshing citrus flavor.
How to Make Creamy Mango Lemonade
With just a few simple ingredients and a blender, you’ll have a refreshing homemade drink that’s ready to enjoy in minutes.
Peel and Dice Mangos
Use the glass trick to peel a mango. Slice the mango down both sides of the pit to create two large halves. Holding one half over a sturdy drinking glass, press the edge of the mango against the rim and push downward. The rim will separate the flesh from the peel, causing the peeled mango to fall right into the glass. Repeat with the remaining half.

Blend the Mango Mixture
Add diced mango, half-and-half, and sweetened condensed milk to a blender.
Blend until completely smooth and creamy. The mixture should be thick but still pourable. If needed, add a small splash of additional half-and-half to loosen the texture.
For a pretty presentation, reserve a small amount of the mango mixture on top of the lemonade-filled glasses.

Build the Lemonade Base
Pour the mango mixture into an 80-ounce pitcher.
Add the fresh lemon juice and water, then stir well until fully combined.

Chill and Serve
Fill the remaining space in the pitcher with ice and stir gently.
Top with fresh mango chunks for a beautiful presentation.
Serve immediately over ice, adding an extra swirl of the reserved mango mixture if desired.

How to Serve & Store Creamy Mango Lemonade
This mango lemonade is best served immediately over plenty of ice with fresh mango chunks added to the pitcher for a beautiful presentation. It’s perfect for summer cookouts, brunches, pool days, and any gathering where you want a refreshing drink that feels a little extra special.
To store leftovers, skim any ice from the pitcher, cover, and refrigerate for up to 2 days. The creamy mango mixture may naturally settle as it sits, so give the pitcher a good stir before serving again.

Creamy Mango Lemonade Recipe

Equipment
Ingredients
Creamy Mango Mixture
- 2 cups fresh mango diced (or thawed frozen mango)*
- ½ cup half-and-half plus more for blending consistency
- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
Lemonade Base
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 6-8 lemons
- 2½ cups water
- Ice
- fresh mango chunks and lemon wedges for topping
Instructions
- Add mango, half-and-half, and sweetened condensed milk to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add additional half-and-half if needed until the mixture is thick but pourable.
- Reserve a small amount of the mango mixture for topping the lemonade glasses, if desired.
- Pour the remaining mango mixture into an 80-ounce pitcher.
- Add lemon juice and water, then stir until combined until it comes together into a creamy texture.
- Fill the pitcher with ice and top with fresh mango chunks.
- Serve immediately over ice.
Notes
Adjust the consistency. If your blended mango mixture is too thick, add a splash of half-and-half until it reaches a smooth, pourable texture.
Use fresh lemon juice. Freshly squeezed lemon juice gives this drink the brightest flavor and balances the sweetness.
Reserving some of the creamy mango mixture makes each glass look extra special when spooned on top before serving.
Don’t use ice directly in the pitcher if you plan to store leftovers in the fridge. It’s better to serve into glasses of ice. Any leftovers should be skimmed of ice to prevent dilution.
