What is a Chicken Snack Wrap?
McDonald’s used to sell snack wraps but they were discontinued in 2016. But, hope is on the horizon because they recently teased that they will be returning to the menu soon. There are two flavor options, honey mustard and ranch. The chicken snack wraps consist of chicken (grilled or fried), shredded lettuce, cheese and either honey mustard dressing or ranch dressing.
Thankfully, with this delicious recipe, you won’t miss the McDonald’s snack wraps anymore!
Key Ingredients
This simple ingredients list is all you will need to pull together these delicious chicken snack wraps.
Chicken – tenders rubbed with my homemade blackened seasoning and pan-grilled
Flour Tortilla – taco-sized flour tortillas
Cheese – you can use grated cheese like McDonald’s does, but I used a slice of colby jack cheese
Shredded Lettuce – iceberg or romaine lettuce shreds
Red Onion – thinly sliced red onions
Blackened Seasoning – my homemade blend (recipe is below) or you can use store-bought
Sauces – mayonnaise and golden honey mustard
How to Make Chicken Snack Wraps
Step 1: Prepare chicken tenders by removing the tendons, then drizzle chicken with olive oil, rubbing them on all sides. Sprinkle over the blackened seasoning on the front and back of the tenders, working it into the chicken to cover both sides in seasoning.
Step 2: Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the chicken tenders (working in batches to not overcrowd the pan if needed). Cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes or until underside is dark golden brown, then flip once and reduce heat to low. Continue to cook 2-3 more minutes and set chicken aside under tented foil.
Step 3: In a clean skillet over low heat, warm the tortillas about 30 seconds per side. To assemble the wraps, spread the center on the wrap with mayo. Add on 1-2 chicken tenders, lay the cheese on top, add red onions, shredded lettuce and top it with a drizzle of honey mustard.

I really enjoyed this! I cooked all the chicken at the beginning of the week and had it for lunches.
