    Gingerbread Cookie Dessert Hummus

    • 1 can chickpeas, canned and strained
    • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
    • 2 tablespoons molasses
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt

    In a food processor, combine ALL ingredients and blend until smooth and no longer gritty. Taste it and adjust the flavors as needed, if it needs to be smoother, add a drizzle more of melted coconut oil. If it needs to be sweeter, add more brown sugar and/or honey.
