Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen Diet Coke cubes made by freezing Diet Coke in an ice cube tray
  • 7.5 ounce can Diet Coke
  • ¼ cup sweet cream coffee creamer or vanilla creamer
  • whipped cream for topping
  • maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill an ice cube tray with Diet Coke and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight until completely frozen.
  • Add the frozen Diet Coke cubes to a blender along with the 7.5-ounce can of Diet Coke and the sweet cream creamer.
  • Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy, adjusting if needed to reach your desired consistency. Add another splash of Diet Coke if you'd like a thinner consistency.
  • Pour into a tall glass, leaving about 2 inches of room at the top.
  • Top with a splash of fresh Diet Coke, whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Freeze the cubes overnight for the creamiest texture.
  • For low-sugar swaps use zero creamers and whipped cream.
  • Sweet cream creamer creates the classic soda fountain flavor, while vanilla creamer is a great substitute.
  • Adjust the thickness with a splash of Diet Coke if needed.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture before the drink begins to melt.
