Servings: 1 drink
- 1 cup frozen Diet Coke cubes made by freezing Diet Coke in an ice cube tray
- 7.5 ounce can Diet Coke
- ¼ cup sweet cream coffee creamer or vanilla creamer
- whipped cream for topping
- maraschino cherry for garnish
Fill an ice cube tray with Diet Coke and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight until completely frozen.
Add the frozen Diet Coke cubes to a blender along with the 7.5-ounce can of Diet Coke and the sweet cream creamer.
Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy, adjusting if needed to reach your desired consistency. Add another splash of Diet Coke if you'd like a thinner consistency.
Pour into a tall glass, leaving about 2 inches of room at the top.
Top with a splash of fresh Diet Coke, whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.
- Freeze the cubes overnight for the creamiest texture.
- For low-sugar swaps use zero creamers and whipped cream.
- Sweet cream creamer creates the classic soda fountain flavor, while vanilla creamer is a great substitute.
- Adjust the thickness with a splash of Diet Coke if needed.
- Serve immediately for the best texture before the drink begins to melt.
