A festive fall drink recipe that blends frozen apple cider cubes with fresh apple cider, heavy cream and caramel to make a delicious whipped drink that kids and adults will adore!
optional toppings: whipped creampumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
Instructions
At least 4-6 hours ahead, add 12 ounces of apple cider to an ice cube tray and freeze until solid.
Once frozen, add the apple cider ice cubes to a blender, pour in the apple cider, cream, and caramel (caramel sauce or salted caramel syrup). Blend until smooth.
Optionally, swirl some caramel sauce inside the glasses for decoration.
Pour in the whipped apple cider. If you're using whipped cream on top, leave a little room at the top for a swirl. Dust with cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice if desired.
Notes
If you cannot locate 100% fresh apple cider (which is usually found in the produce section at the store during the fall season), you can use 100% apple juice.
