Waldorf Chicken Salad Recipe

Tart grapes and apples, crunchy celery, red onion, and pecans are tossed with chicken in a creamy lemon dressing in this Waldorf Chicken Salad recipe. Ingredients

Creamy Lemon Dressing

  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Juice and zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Toppings

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken chopped
  • 1/3 cup celery diced
  • 1/3 cup grapes halved
  • 1/3 cup apples diced
  • 1/3 cup red onions diced
  • 1/3 cup pecans chopped

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients. Whisk until combined, taste and adjust if needed.
  • In a large bowl add all of the toppings. Pour over half the dressing and use a spatula to toss until evenly distributed. Add more dressing in increments, stirring as you go, until it reaches your desired creaminess.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving. Serve with crackers or veggies.
