Course: Appetizer, dinner, Game Day
Servings: 9 sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 pack hawaiian slider buns
  • 1 lb. ground beef 80/20
  • 6 slices American cheese, cut in half
  • 1 pack bacon avoid thick-cut so it'll be thin and crispy
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 head iceberg lettuce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Start by cooking bacon on the stove in a large skillet over medium low until crispy. Set bacon aside and wipe out excess grease from the pan. Spread ground beef into a flattened large square. Cut into 9 equal sized square patties, about 4”x4”.
  • Season the burger patties with salt and pepper. Cook on medium-high in the same skillet, flipping just once, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Spread bottom buns with mayo. Add burger patty, top with cheese and put in the oven on broil for just 2 minutes to melt the cheese if needed. Add tomato slices, then top with lettuce.
  • Spread the underside of the top buns with a thick dollop of mayo, place them on top of the sliders. Then slice and serve!
