Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup whole cherries seeds removed, fresh or frozen/thawed work
  • 2 - 7.5 ounce cans Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 cup vanilla creamer chobani brand or similar

Instructions

  • Mince the cherries until they are small enough to easily fit through a straw. You should have a few spoonfuls of cherry juice from chopping the cherries, set that aside.
  • Use a frother (or smoothie blender) to make a cold foam with the vanilla creamer and the preserved cherry juice. It should be thick and creamy but easily pourable.
  • Fill the bottom of each glass with 4 tablespoons of minced cherries. Add ice cubes enough to fill 2/3 of the each glass.
  • Pour in the Dr Pepper, leaving 2 inches of space at the top. Then add in the cherry vanilla cold foam. Carefully stir as the carbonation can make it overflow if agitated too much.

Notes

If you're looking for a lower-calorie alternative, use cherry vanilla creamer like Ollipop. Diet Dr. Pepper works as well.
