Ingredients

Chicken Caesar Wrap

  • Blackened Garlic Butter Chicken Tenders
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and diced
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped and dried well
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup garlic butter croutons, finely chopped into coarse crumbs
  • 2 10-inch flour tortillas

Homemade Caesar Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Garlic Parmesan Fries

  • 14 oz bag frozen french fries
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced (about 1.5 tbsp)
  • cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley

Instructions

Make the Caesar Dressing

  • Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, lemon juice, Parmesan, salt, and pepper to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Prepare the Chicken

  • Cook the Blackened Garlic Butter Chicken Tenders according to the recipe instructions.
  • Place the cooked chicken onto a cutting board and drizzle with a few spoonfuls of the Caesar dressing. Chop into bite-sized pieces (the dressing will work into the chicken as you chop..)

Build the Caesar Salad

  • Add the chopped romaine to a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the chopped bacon, Parmesan cheese, and finely chopped garlic butter croutons.
  • Add the dressed chicken.
  • Drizzle with Caesar dressing and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.

Assemble the Wraps

  • Lay one tortilla flat.
  • Fill a small bowl (about 2 inches smaller than the tortilla) with half of the Caesar mixture, pressing it down firmly.
  • Quickly invert the bowl onto the upper center of the tortilla, creating a tightly packed mound.
  • Fold the left and right sides of the tortilla toward the center until they nearly meet.
  • Begin rolling tightly away from you while gently compressing the filling. If a little salad escapes, use your fingers to tuck it back inside as you continue rolling.
  • Wrap tightly in parchment paper to help hold its shape.
  • Repeat with the second wrap.
  • Slice in half and serve with extra Caesar dressing.
  • Optional Toasting - Heat a dry skillet over medium-low heat. Toast each wrap seam-side down for about 1-2 minutes per side until lightly golden.

Garlic Parmesan Fries

  • Cook the frozen French fries according to the package directions until golden brown and crispy.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook just until fragrant.
  • Transfer the hot fries to a large bowl.
  • Pour the garlic butter over the fries. Add the Parmesan and parsley.
  • Toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately with extra Caesar dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • Dress the chicken separately first. Tossing a few spoonfuls of Caesar dressing with the cooked chicken before chopping it ensures every bite is packed with flavor.
  • Dry the romaine thoroughly. Excess moisture will water down the dressing and make the wraps soggy.
  • Chop the croutons. Breaking them into coarse crumbs distributes their buttery garlic crunch throughout the wrap instead of leaving large hard chunks.
  • Pack the filling. Using a small bowl to compress the Caesar salad makes rolling the wraps much easier and helps them stay together.
  • Toast the wraps for extra texture. A quick toast in a dry skillet adds a light crispness and helps seal the tortilla.
  • Don't skip the fries. The Garlic Parmesan Fries dipped in extra Caesar dressing turn this into a restaurant-worthy meal.
