The Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew beats out the Pumpkin Spice Latte all day long. I’m thrilled that Starbucks created a fall drink that caters to those of us that adore cold drinks all year ’round. Sure, we could make the PSL into an iced latte, but it never tastes as “fall” to me as the hot version. But this Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew nails it and this is the drink I wait all year for. When I found these Starbucks Cold Brew concentrate pods yesterday, I knew that I just had to create a recipe for my favorite drink so we can enjoy it after it leaves the menu at Starbucks!
My love for maple donuts is real! I absolutely adore classic maple bars and pretty much all donuts for that matter. There is something about that buttery, brown sugary, maple frosting that is unmatched. And if you too, adore mixing sweet and salty flavors, these Pecan Maple Bacon Fritter Bites are for you. I firmly believe that bacon belongs in my baked goods (especially when you can pull them together in under 30 minutes). Are ya with me?
I have been on a roll with cozy comfort food recipes lately and today I am making these broccoli cheddar twice-baked potatoes! Twice-baked potatoes could be made so many different ways but broccoli and cheddar are one of my favorites. They are sooo cheesy, well seasoned, and herby with that slight crunch from the broccoli. I can’t wait to share it with you.
A friend of mine sent me a video of the Travis Scott burger that McDonald’s is featuring. I was so excited to try and remake it at home. A burger isn’t too complicated, but as you know, a burger can taste so different depending on the toppings, bread, etc. that you use. In this post, I will show you the best items to buy to make this taste identical to the McDonald’s version.
I am a plain jane when it comes to burgers. I will usually get it with limited toppings if any. Sometimes I just opt for meat and cheese. An occasional mayo or red onion might be thrown on depending on which burger joint I am eating at. But for me, ketchup is always on the side. But, I vowed to remake this burger exactly as it’s meant to be eaten and set aside my prejudice on things like pickles and mustard. Wow! This burger may have changed the toppings I put on my burgers forever…
Sweet and Spicy is one of my favorites flavor combinations. These Spicy Coconut Chicken Tenders will excite you with the dozens of electrifying flavors from the sweet and crisp coconut breading to the garlicky homemade sweet chili sauce and the spicy tex-mex black pepper hot sauce. These tenders are far from regular and if you too are a fellow flavor king/queen, you will be obsessed!
I adore making copycat recipes and I’ve come to realize that my blog is getting more and more filled with delicious recreations of my restaurant favorites. This 30-Minute Zuppa Toscana Soup is my favorite item to get at Olive Garden (since they stopped carrying Chicken Alfredo Pizza Fritta). I will usually get full off of the soup before my entree arrives.
Last winter I posted a photo of the soup on my Instagram page but never added the recipe to my blog. A close family friend, Kellie, came across the photo this weekend and asked for the recipe. Having very little memory of how I made it last time (you know, I measure with my heart), this was a great excuse to recreate this soup again. So guess what’s for dinner tonight??!
I just saw the first leaf fall from the trees in Atlanta and I am officially declaring today the start of the fall season! Ok, maybe it was from Hurricane Sally ripping them from the trees, but still. I need an excuse to start this season early because it’s the greatest, most joyful time of year. From here until the end of the year it’s cozy and festive. This is MY season! What the playoff season is to the NFL, the fall/holiday season is to me. It’s my prime. It’s BAKING SEASON, PEOPLE!! And today we are kicking it off (football pun intended) with a recipe for Caramel Apple Cider Donuts!
When you combine a flavor like peanut butter and chocolate with a texture like soft and chewy, you get one of the greatest cookies ever. Not only are these Reese’s Pieces Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies studded with tons of warm, bursting Reese’s Pieces and melting chocolate chips, but they are also filled with an oozing peanut butter center. There are few things in this world better than crispy hot french fries. I have tried making these homemade many times and while I have had success frying them (which has the downfall of my house and hair smelling like fried food), I do not like making them in the oven. My baked fries end up limp, soggy, and sad. They don’t have that signature satisfying crunch. Until today! We are making the BEST EVER crispy, baked oven fries.
Take everything you know about baking fries in the oven and throw it out the window! This recipe is a game-changer and is a cinch to make for company. No smelly house, no stress of frying, and big batch friendly! Read More
